domainfactory GmbH in Munich was founded not even five years ago and is already one of Germany’s largest web hosts. In numbers: 60,000 customers and 180,000 domains managed. In 1998 Tobias Marburg founded an Internet forum (www.onlinekosten.de) run by users for users and the community grew quickly. In 1999 he used his experience from this web site and founded www.3Mark49.de. For a price of DM 3.49 John Doe was able to afford an Internet domain for the first time.

This project, too, got off to a good start. Marburg, then 24, took on Jochen Tuchbreiter, also 24, as a partner and offered web hosting on a professional level. domainfactory was born. Today, only five years later, 25 domainfactory employees manage approximately 180,000 domains. With domain*go they created a second brand name with especially low-priced offers.

Premium hosting. domainfactory stands out in the highly competitive hosting market because of its extraordinary services. "With our many years of experience we know what is important in our branch," Marburg says and adds, "We offer considerably more individual support than what is typical of other web hosts and place importance on a very high level of reliability and sound technical innovations."

The guaranteed 99.9% availability has always been surpassed since domainfactory was founded. Technical journals regularly give domainfactory excellent ratings for its offers. The recently introduced "ManagedServer" package offers, for example, a flat rate for web site traffic, Raid1, complete backups or port and performance monitoring around the clock.

According to experts, the self-developed tool "Reseller Professional" is by far the best offer for resellers in the German-speaking countries. This tool makes complete automation possible, from taking the order to invoicing.

Premium Service. Not only domainfactory’s technical packages but also its service is just right.
